What it is

22.09.2000 He Was Born is a portfolio inside a CRT-like WebGL television where scroll changes channels through videos, live 3D scenes, glitch effects, and cursor distortion.

LUCERRÁ built it around one fixed WebGL canvas, custom CRT GLSL shader, eight composited texture layers, render-to-texture Three.js scenes, GSAP ScrollTrigger, MediaPipe hand tracking, bloom, cursor trail distortion, and adaptive quality gates.

There is a practical lesson here too. Projects like this are useful references because they sit between demo, interface, and study. Open the live version, try the interaction, and look at the linked material where available. The strongest details are usually in the small decisions: how motion starts, how a transition resolves, how much work is done by shader logic, and where the author chose not to overbuild.
